Bengaluru: The Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru were sent on a leather hunt on Monday at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium by the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. The RCB captain had won the toss and then opted to bowl, but he would have never dreamt that the SRH side would get to 100 in merely seven overs and knock them back up front. Many sixes were hit in the game, first by Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head and then Heinrich Klassen took over. Meanwhile, SRH has made a mockery of the RCB bowling. The SRH side went on to post the highest team total in the history of the league. SRH posted 287 for three. Klaasen scored a breathtaking 67 off 31 balls after Travis Head smashed a brilliant century.

RCB would need a miracle to even come close to this target. This also happens to be the second highest team total ever in T20 cricket. All the RCB bowlers were taken to the cleaners.
