Pakistan has suffered another major setback before the Champions Trophy. The big news is that umpire Nitin Menon has refused to go to Pakistan. According to reports, this umpire included in the ICC panel is not going to Pakistan. Earlier, the Indian team had also refused to go to Pakistan, now Indian umpire Nitin Menon has also given this decision a big blow to the PCB. This is the reason that Nitin Menon is not named in the list of umpires released for the Champions Trophy.

He too has not got a chance in the panel of match referee. David Boon, Andrew Paiyoft and Ranjan Madugale will be the match referee during the Champions Trophy.

Nitin Menon has been umpiring in 40 Tests, in which he was a field 30 times and 10 times a TV umpire. In ODIs, he has umpiring in 75 matches. While in T20 too, he has umpiring in 75 matches. He has also umpiring 13 women's T20 International matches. Jawagal Srinath's match referee career is quite big. These legends have been a match referee in 79 Tests, 272 ODIs. Apart from this, he has also done this work in 136 T20 matches. Recently, Srinath came into controversies when he approved the decision to give a substitute player to the Indian team in the Pune T20 against England. Shrinath allowed Harshit Rana to feed as a replacement player after Shivam Dubey was injured, after which there was a lot of controversy.
