But during the ticket purchase, there was a stampede outside the stadium, in which news of many fans being unconscious is coming. At the same time, to stop the huge crowd of people, the police also had to resort to water canon along with sticks.

Actually, a large number of cricket lovers reached the stadium for the ticket of this match of Team India. But some fans started climbing the counter for tickets, due to which the police had to call. Due to which a stampede -like situation was created and the police had to struggle hard to handle the security system. According to media reports, the police also had to resort to water canon along with sticks charge to stop the huge crowd.

According to reports, about 10 people are coming unconscious in this stampede and 15 people are said to be injured. However, it is not yet known how many people have been engaged. No update has been given on this incident by Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). On the other hand, people who came to buy tickets have alleged that such a situation has arisen due to the negligence of the administration. Since Tuesday night, people were in queue for tickets and then the situation became uncontrollable on Wednesday morning. Let me tell you, the audience capacity of Barabati Stadium is 44,574. Out of this, 24,692 tickets have been made available for sale.
