Royal Challengers Bengaluru don’t know how to bowl according to a plan against rivals in the Indian Premier League 2024. In their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, they conceded runs at a brisk pace. The Pat Cummins-led team scripted the highest team total for the second time in the history of the cash-rich league. They bettered their own record of 277/3 and amassed 287/3 in 20 overs.

The highest total came against Mumbai Indians in the first instance. Hyderabad decided to break their own record against Bengaluru.

Travis Head slammed the fourth fastest hundred in the history of the tournament. He faced 39 balls and hit 9 fours and 8 sixes to reach the three-figure mark.

Former India players Robin Uthappa and Irfan Pathan hit out at the Faf du Plessis-led team for their wayward bowling.

Head’s departure gave Heinrich Klaasen a licence to go after the rivals. The Proteas batter managed 67 runs off 31 balls, packed with 7 sixes and 2 fours.

Aiden Markram (32 off 17, 2 fours, 2 sixes) and Abdul Samad (37 runs off 10 balls, 4 fours, 3 sixes), Abhishek Sharma (34 runs off 22, 2 fours, 2 sixes) played aggressively. SRH hit 22 sixes in the game.

Reece Topley (68 runs in 4 overs), Vijaykumar Vyshak (64 runs in 4 overs), Lockie Ferguson (52 runs in 4 overs) and Yash Dayal (51 in 4 overs) were hammered by the rival batters.
