Kolkata defeated Lucknow by 8 wickets
If we talk about this match, Kolkata won the toss and decided to bowl first and Lucknow, batting first, scored 161 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Kolkata, experienced fast bowler Mitchell Starc bowled brilliantly and showed the way to the pavilion by giving away 28 runs in 4 overs to 3 batsmen. For LSG, star batsman Nicholas Pooran scored 45 runs in 32 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes and took his team to a respectable score.

While chasing the target, KKR team lost two wickets for 42 runs but after this captain Shreyas Iyer and opener Philip Salt took charge. Salt played an unbeaten inning of 89 runs, while Iyer remained not out after scoring 38 runs.
