India's Olympic-style Multi-Sport Event i.e. National Games is being organized in Uttarakhand. A big case of fixing has come up between this big event. The Technical Conduct Committee (GTCC) has removed T. Praveen Kumar, director of Taekwondo competition. At the same time, S. Dinesh Kumar has been nominated as Taekwondo Competition Director in place of T Praveen Kumar. Praveen Kumar was also accused of possible manipulation in the results of the Taekwondo event at the National Games. After which this action has been taken.
In fact, Praveen Kumar, director of the Taekwondo competition, was accused of selling medals and match fixing in the Taekwondo competition. The Taekwondo competition at the National Games is being held in Haldwani. But even before it started, allegations of purchase and sale of medal were reported. According to reports, the players were demanding Rs 3 lakh for gold medal, Rs 2 lakh for silver medal and Rs 1 lakh for bronze medal. After which the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) took strict action.
