Karunaratne has scored 7172 runs at an average of 39.40 with 16 centuries in Test cricket. His name has a century in ODIs.
Left -handed batsman Dimuth Karunaratne's international career started in 2011 with an ODI against England. He played his first ODI in Manchester, while the last ODI played against India at the Wankhede ground. In 2012, his Test career started against Gaul against New Zealand. Now on the same Gaul ground, he will say goodbye to his career forever.
