The Champions Trophy 2025 is going to start in Pakistan from February 19. Just before this, a tri -series will be played between Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand these three countries. The Pakistani Army has been called for this. It has been decided to deploy the Pakistani Army and Rangers during the tri -series due to the deteriorating situation due to security in Pakistan. This tri -series will now be amidst tight security of the Pakistani army.

Approval for deployment of army and Rangers

The deployment of army and Rangers has been approved during the tri -series. Pakistan's internal ministry has cleared the deployment of the army. It is being told that in every match, a company of Pakistani Army and Rangers will provide security. The police had allegedly requested for the deployment of the army.

Tri -series finals will be played on 14 February

Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand will play the four -match Tri Nation ODI series. There will be a total of four matches including the final. Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released its schedule. The first match will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan on 8 February. The second match will be played between New Zealand and South Africa on 10 February and the third match between Pakistan and South Africa on 12 February. At the same time, the final (fourth match) match will be held on 14 February. Both the initial matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and both the later matches will be played by Karachi at the National Bank Stadium.

Champions Trophy will be finalized on 9 March

The Champions Trophy will start as soon as the Tri -series is over. Pakistan is hosting this ICC tournament. However, all the matches of Team India will be played in Dubai. The tournament will start from 19 February in Karachi from the match between Pakistan and New Zealand. The final match will be played on 9 March. If Team India reaches the final and semi -finals, then these big matches will be in Dubai or else they will be played in Pakistan itself. Mahamukabala between India and Pakistan will be held in Dubai on 23 February. Earlier, Team India will start their campaign against Bangladesh from 20 February.
