India haven’t lost a T20I series under Gautam Gambhir’s tenure as a head coach. The Men in Blue defeated Bangladesh at home and then thumped Sri Lanka and South Africa in an away series. In the home assignment against England, the victory margin was 4-1. The batters are going for an all-out attack while bowlers are targeting wickets.

No matter what the situation is, the willow holders are going for strokes. Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav have suffered the most because of this approach, but the results of the matches have been in favor of the team.

Gambhir doesn’t want to change the style and is ready to back the players. He is in favor of fearless cricket.

“India don’t have a fear of losing. We are playing high-risk, high-reward cricket. We believe in fearless cricket, and the players have adapted to our philosophy and new brand of cricket. You will not be able to post 250 runs regularly. There would be times when you be dismissed for 130 runs but we are ready for that,” he said on Star Sports.

“If you don’t play high-risk cricket, you can’t achieve success in this format,” he added.

India will now return to one-day internationals and will compete in three ODIs against England before traveling to Dubai for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
