India's U19 Women's T20 World Cup hero, Gongadi Trisha, etched her name in history with a breathtaking all-round performance in the final against South Africa.

The young all-rounder not only steered her team to victory with an unbeaten 44-run knock but also dismantled the Proteas batting lineup with a sensational 3/15 spell. Her heroics ensured India's dominant win and cemented her status as one of the brightest talents in women's cricket.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Trisha was left nearly speechless after being awarded both the Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament honours. Overwhelmed by the moment, she could only manage to dedicate her success to her father, a touching tribute to the support behind her journey. Her all-round brilliance had been the backbone of India's unbeaten run in the tournament, and she once again delivered .

"Means everything to me, right now not able to say anything. Thank everyone for supporting me. Plan was to always focus on my strengths, did the same thing today as well...Would like to dedicate this to my dad who is here. Always consider myself as an allrounder. Goal is to play for the country and win more matches," Trisha said.

The final in Kuala Lumpur saw Trisha rise to the occasion yet again. With South Africa struggling against India's disciplined bowling attack, Trisha's spin wizardry added to the opposition's misery, triggering a collapse that restricted them to a modest 82-run total. She was well-supported by her fellow spinners, as India's slow bowlers accounted for nine of the ten wickets.

Chasing a low total, Trisha came out with attacking intent, smashing three boundaries in the very first over. Her aggressive stroke play kept India ahead in the chase as she partnered with fellow batter Soumya Chalke to put the game beyond South Africa's reach. A minor hiccup saw India lose Kamalini Reyneke to a sharp delivery, but Trisha and Chalke continued their charge. By the time Trisha was dropped on 38, India needed just 15 runs for victory, and Chalke eventually sealed the win with a stylish boundary in the 12th over.

Trisha finished the tournament as the top scorer with 309 runs, solidifying her place as a rising star. India's triumph, led by her brilliance, marks a new chapter in women's cricket. With her composure under pressure and match-winning ability, the young all-rounder is set to be a key figure in India's cricketing future.
