Delhi: India's great batsman Yuvraj Singh, who is considered one of the biggest players of cricket, will represent the India Masters team in the first season of the International Masters League (IML) to be held from February 22 to March 16, 2025.
Yuvraj Singh has got such an identity in the cricket world, which is not only because of his brilliant game, but also because of his historical innings and victory. Yuvraj played a key role in India's victory in the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007, in which he created history by hitting 6 sixes in an over on Stuart Broad. Apart from this, he received the Player of the Tournament Award for the tournament due to his brilliant all-round performance in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.
On his return to his cricket, Yuvraj Singh said, “Getting on the field with Sachin and the rest of his colleagues refreshes the memories of the old days. Playing with them, it seems as if we are living again for those golden moments. For me, IML is like paying homage to the era, which gave a new identity to Indian cricket. I am very excited to make some more memorable moments with my team and all fans. “
Along with Yuvraj, JP Duminy of South Africa and Apul Tharanga of Sri Lanka will also represent their respective teams.
