In this relay event, Karnataka team also included Shirin, Shalini R Dixit and Meenakshi Menon in this relay event. In this event, Gujarat won silver and Maharashtra won bronze medals.
But not only Dhinidhi, but experienced swimmer Srihari Nataraja also played an important role in maintaining swimming for Karnataka. Nataraja, one of the top men's swimmers in India, put the gold medal in the team relay in the men's 4 × 200 meter freestyle and in the bag of Karnataka. The team of Srihari, Dakshan S, Shon Ganguly and Aneesh S Gowda won the time of 7: 45.82 minutes. Apart from these, Sajan Prakash of Kerala won the men's 200 meter butterfly gold medal with 2: 01.40 minutes.
