Two teams that have managed to win each of their last two matches will come head to head in their last league match of DP World ILT20 2025. Teams MI Emirates (MIE) and Sharjah Warriorz (SW) will look to lock in their spot in the playoffs and keep their winning momentum going.

MIE's bowlers had kept all the batters other than James Vince of the Gulf Giants on a tight leash. Vince marched on even as all his teammates struggled, but the target of 174 wasn't enough for their bowlers. Nicholas Pooran mitigated an early collapse with an unbeaten fifty to lead the defending champions home.

Sharjah Warriorz have turned around a four-match losing streak to find themselves miraculously in contention for a playoffs spot. SWR took down ADKR in their last match. Kyle Mayers started positively early in the innings, but Adam Zampa induced a collapse in the middle that ADKR never actually recovered from. Johnson Charles then shut down any chance of ADKR coming back into the game with a quickfire fifty that mitigated the late fumble from Warriorz before they eventually crossed the finish line.

In the previous fixture between the sides, MIE registered a comfortable win that started the Warriorz' four-match losing streak. Fazalhaq Farooqi kept the SWR batters in check and then Tom Banton smashed an unbeaten century to end any hopes that the Sharjah outfit might have harboured.

Let's have a look at upcoming milestones for MIE vs SW ILT20 2025 clash:

  • Fazalhaq Farooqi: Needs two (2) wickets to complete 50 wickets in the DP World ILT20.
  • Nicholas Pooran: The Trinidadian needs two (2) sixes to reach 600 sixes in T20s.
  • Andre Fletcher: Needs 97 runs to complete 8,000 runs in T20s.
  • Muhammad Waseem: The Emirati stalwart needs two (2) sixes to reach 200 sixes in T20s.
