Champions Trophy 2025 : The ICC Champions Trophy is set to make its much-anticipated return in 2025 after an eight-year break, with Pakistan hosting the prestigious event starting from February 19.

As both the host nation and the reigning champions, Pakistan will aim to defend their title against seven other top cricketing nations.

The tournament format divides the eight participating teams into two groups, where each team will play three matches during the group stage. The top two teams from each group will secure spots in the semi-finals, setting the stage for an intense knockout phase.

Group A consists of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, promising high-stakes matches filled with fierce rivalries. Group B brings together Afghanistan, England, Australia, and South Africa, ensuring equally competitive encounters.

The tournament will kick off with an exciting opener between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi, setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling Champions Trophy.
