The Government of India is constantly trying to promote sports in the country. For this, Khelo India Scheme is run by the Central Government. Under this, work is done to increase the infrastructure of sports at the grassroots level, increase interest in sports and create sports culture in the country. On behalf of the Government of India, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget in Parliament on 1 February Saturday. During this, he announced an increase in the budget of 'Khelo India'. The Finance Minister has allocated 1000 crores for this scheme by increasing 100 crores compared to last time. Let me tell you that 900 crore rupees were allocated for this scheme last time.
