The fourth T20 match between India and England was played in Pune. In this match, Team India won but a decision by the Indian veteran raised controversy. This was the decision of the Convention Substitute. In fact, Harshit Rana replaced him in the middle match after Shivam Dubey was hurt and he became a big reason for England's defeat. The biggest thing is that even though Suryakumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir Rana were chosen for replacement. But he permission was given by the referee of this match and former Indian player Jawagal Srinath. There has been a ruckus since then. The reason for his decision was forced to cry the English team. At the same time, veteran cricketers of England also raised questions.
Former England captain and legendary player Alastair Cook described Jawagal Srinath's decision as crazy. He said that 'All -rounder, who made a big hit and only 1 over in the IPL, was replaced by a player who does not know how to bat and he bowls the seam completely. I do not understand any meaning of this decision. This is completely crazy. I don't know how it was allowed to do. They should not have been allowed to play.
It makes no sense to me whatsoeverhe should not be allowed to bowl there

Apart from Cook, former England players Kevin Peterson and Michael Vaughan also opposed the decision. Vaughan called Harshit Rana the 12th player of Team India. He also questioned Srinath's decision and said that 'how can a bowler be replaced by a batsman, who only bowls part time'. Team captain Jose Butler looked very angry with this decision. During the interview, he even said that he will also say first in the next match that he is going to descend with 12 players.
Jawagal Srinath is a former player of Team India. He made his debut for the Indian team in 1991 as a fast bowler. After playing 12 years, Srinath said goodbye to cricket. In 2003, he played the last match for India. During this, he took 236 wickets in 67 Tests for India. At the same time, he took 315 wickets in 229 ODIs. After retiring from cricket, he started the commentary. Then in 2006, ICC, the highest organization of cricket, chose him as a match referee for the first time. Since then, he is playing this role and has been a part of many big ICC tournaments.
Generally, such an injury or any kind of collision in the head is called Kanakashan which affects the brain. Dubey also had a ball at the helmet and complained of dizziness. In such a situation, under the rule, the player who is hurt, the team can field the same player. India had fielded fast bowler Harshit Rana in exchange for batting all -rounder Dubey, whose match referee Srinath gave permission.
