Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will honor the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with the Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual award ceremony on 1 February. Sachin, who retired from international cricket in 2013, still owns many such records, which have not been easy for any player to break. The award ceremony will be held at the head office of BCCI in Mumbai. Last year, this prestigious award was given to former cricketer Ravi Shastri and veteran wicketkeeper Farooq Engineer.
Sachin Tendulkar stepped into international cricket at the age of just 16 and soon became an important part of the Indian team.
