He shared 87 runs in 45 balls with Hardik Pandya, on which Team India scored 181 runs in 20 overs. When Shivam Dubey was beating the England bowlers, the whole team India was saluting him, was playing applause for him, but this team management did not consider him worthy of this series.

Shivam Dubey did not get a place in Team India for the T20 series but the player joined Team India from the second T20 after Nitish Reddy's injury.
