Sachin Tendulkar to Be Honoured with BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award News in Hindi: Great Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will be awarded the CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award on Saturday (February 1) at the BCCI award ceremony in Mumbai on Saturday (1 February).

51 -year -old Tendulkar, who plays 664 international matches for India, holds the record for the highest Test and ODI runs in cricket history. Sachin is also the only player to score 100 centuries (51 in ODIs and 49 in Tests) in his career, while Virat Kohli is so far closest to him with 81 centuries.

A BCCI source told PTI, “Yes, he will be the recipient of the CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2024.” Very few people in Indian cricket are more entitled to this award, as the 51 -year -old has played the highest level for the country for 24 years from 1989 to 2013. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri was the last recipient of the award in 2023.

Tendulkar's 200 Tests and 463 ODIs are the most matches played by any player in cricket history. He scored 15,921 runs in Tests and 18,426 runs in ODIs.

He has played only one T20 international match in his brilliant career. The award has been received by former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri and former veteran wicketkeeper Farooq Engineer.
