Australian legendary batsman Steve Smith has done a big feat in Test cricket. In the first Test being played against Sri Lanka, Smith created history as soon as he scored the first run. Now 10 thousand runs have been completed in this longest format of Smith's cricket. These feat has not been able to do veterans like Virat Kohli and Kane Wilian in the test. These Australian veterans have overtaken both the veterans. Not only this, Smith is also ahead in the case of Test centuries from both.

Smith completed 10 thousand Test runs

Smith made a special record in Test cricket on Sri Lanka soil, he also scored just one run. By the end of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against India, Smith had 9999 runs in the Test. He needed only one run for 10 thousand Test runs. In the first innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka, he also achieved this special place as soon as he scored the first run. He did this feat in 205 innings of 115 matches. Now Smith has become the fourth Australian and overall 15th batsman to score 10,000 runs in the Test.
