The Indian cricket team lost the third T20 match in Rajkot. After the victory in Kolkata, Chennai, Team India was confident of sealing the series in Rajkot itself but it did not happen. In Rajkot, England scored 171 runs while batting first, in response the Indian team could score only 145 runs. Hardik Pandya scored 40 runs for India. Apart from him, no other batsman could perform well. For England, Ben Docket scored the highest innings of 51 runs. Lium Livingston also scored 43 runs but no other batsman could perform well. England was hurt by Varun Chakraborty, who took 5 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs. Chakraborty took the feat of taking five wickets for the second time in T20 career. Chakraborty dismissed Joss Butler, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Cars and Archer in Rajkot.
