After defeating India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy after a decade in its home, now Australia team will play two Test matches on Sri Lanka soil. For this, there has been a significant change in Australia's team. Sam Custus, who opened the opening with Usman Khwaja in the last two Tests against India, has been shown the way out of the first match against Sri Lanka. In his place, Osman Khwaja will handle the opening of the opening with the middle order of the Middle Order, Travis Head.
Travis Head had fiercely set a fire in the Test series against India. The Kangaroo team has given a big reward to the head after a blast against Team India. The head playing in the middle order will be seen batting in the opening in the first Test against Sri Lanka. Regarding this, Australia acting Test captain Steve Smith said, 'Head will open. I think it is quite stable. I do not see it as a big change. The selectors are happy with the opportunity that Head took advantage of the opportunity in India.
Steve Smith has said that SAM will also get to learn against Sri Lanka out of the playing XI. Smith said, 'If you do not play Constuss, then they will get a chance to practice a lot. Which will be a big deal in itself. I think of 2013, where I was not part of the first two matches on the tour of India. I was able to improve my skills with the kind of batting I was batting in the nets.
