At that time, 13-year-old Owen had celebrated the victory of his favorite team as a spectator in the stadium. But now he has celebrated as a player.

However, his favorite team could not become champion in the 2015 season. But after 10 years he got a chance to play in BBL for the first time. He performed brilliantly for Hobart Hurricanes throughout the season.
