There is no sign of resolving the issue related to the match fees of the players of Bangladesh Premier League team Darbar Rajshahi. In the last few days, there has been another case of players refusing to play due to non-payment of dues within the team. Earlier the local players of the team had threatened not to play the match. And, now its foreign players refused to take the field. However, it does not seem that this made any difference to the team franchise. Because, he did not care about his foreign players and decided to take the field without them, which is a violation of an important rule of Bangladesh Premier League.
According to the rules of Bangladesh Premier League, in the current season, every franchise has to include at least 2 foreign players in its playing eleven. But, Darbar Rajshahi did not do this in the match played against Rangpur Riders on 26 January. Its captain Taskin Ahmed told that there are 4 changes in his team and they are because foreign players are not playing. However, what was surprising was that the Technical Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board allowed Darbar Rajshahi to play without including any foreign player in the playing eleven.
