ICC rules usually make this game for cricket. But many times the T20 leagues released worldwide bring some interesting rules to make it interesting. However, they are used only in the league, they have nothing to do with international cricket. This has been seen in the T20 league IPL to be held in India, where the Empact Player is used. Now some rules for the next season are being discussed in the Big Bash League to be played in Australia. If they are implemented then it can be interesting in cricket and can see revolutionary changes.
The rule that is being discussed first in the Big Bash League is a deserted hitter (DH). It is like an impact player used in some IPL. However, one player is completely replaced by the other in the Employee Player. But under DH rule, both teams will be able to nominate a player from their playing XI only for batting. This player will not need to field. Apart from this, it is also being considered to allow the same end to put back to back two overs. If the captain wants, then one can ask any bowler to throw 12 consecutive balls from the same end.
