Former Team India cricketer Manoj Tiwari has made a sensational allegation against head coach Gautam Gambhir in an interview. Manoj Tiwari said that Gautam Gambhir abused him a lot during a match and then he was also threatened to beat him after the match. Manoj Tiwari made many sensational claims in this interview. Manoj Tiwari said in an interview given to Lallantop, on 24 October 2015, he and Gambhir were playing a Ranji match. I took my guard. Gambhir was standing in the slip and from there he abused me in such a way that I cannot even tell you. While abusing he said that I will meet you in the evening and beat you. I said brother why in the evening, kill now. I was also strong at that time.
Manoj Tiwari alleged that Gambhir was jealous of him without any reason. He said, 'I had scored 129 runs in the friendly match against Australia. Gambhir had scored 105 or 110 runs in the same match. He got angry at me. He said to me angrily – What are you doing, come down. When I was in the washroom, he came from behind and stood up and started getting angry. He told me that this attitude of yours will not work. I will make you such that I will never feed you. Then Wasim Akram came there and calmed down the matter. Manoj Tiwari said that Gambhir faced problems even when Sourav Ganguly came to Bengal Cricket Board. He also said rude things about Ganguly and said that he has come to the board with his recommendations.
