Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill… all these are not small names of Team India. All are batting superstars of the Indian team. But, all these stars of Indian cricket have fallen to the ground in Ranji Trophy. All these players, who came to play in Ranji Trophy after a long time, have failed to perform for their respective home teams. The second half of Ranji Trophy started from 23rd January, and along with it, the performance of these players was also seen in domestic cricket. But his first innings was not as expected.

The snake sniffed the batsmen in scoring 10 runs.

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal had come to play Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai. Rishabh Pant was a part of the Delhi team. Whereas Shubman Gill is playing Ranji match with Punjab team. But, all of them failed even to score 10 runs in the first innings of the match. This means that all of them could not even touch the double figures and returned to the pavilion.

Shubman Gill, who played Ranji for Punjab, was also the captain of this team. He had the responsibility of giving a good start to the team against Karnataka. But, he failed to do so. Not even 10 runs were scored from them. Facing 8 balls, he could score only 4 runs.

Rishabh Pant could not score more than 1 run

Rishabh Pant's Ramkahani was worse than Gill's. Pant, who played as a wicket-keeper batsman for Delhi, failed miserably against Saurashtra. He faced 10 balls in the first innings of the match but did not score 10 runs from them. Left-handed batsman Pant scored only 1 run and returned to the pavilion.

Only the pair of Rohit-Yashasvi did not break…

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal open together for Team India in Test cricket. But, at present both of them were failing to form big partnerships for India in Test cricket. In the same way, he failed in the first innings of the Ranji match against Jammu and Kashmir. Together, both of them made an opening partnership of just 6 runs for Mumbai. It did not happen that any one batsman played a big innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal faced 8 balls and scored 4 runs. Whereas Rohit Sharma faced 19 balls but he too could not cross the 10-run mark. Rohit scored just 3 runs.

Shreyas Iyer's vehicle also did not progress beyond 11 runs.

Another star player of Team India, Shreyas Iyer is also playing from Mumbai. But he also did not perform anything special in the first innings. Shreyas remained different from the rest because he crossed the limit of 10 runs. Shreyas Iyer was out after scoring 11 runs.
