Ravindra Jadeja has done wonders in the Ranji Trophy matches. Playing for Saurashtra, Ravindra Jadeja achieved the feat of taking five wickets in the first innings against Delhi. Jadeja bowled 17.4 overs against Delhi in which he took five wickets for just 66 runs. Jadeja created such pressure on Delhi that the team could score only 188 runs in the first innings. The big thing is that Rishabh Pant was also playing in the Delhi team but even his presence could not save this team. Rishabh Pant himself was out after scoring only one run in 10 balls.
Ravindra Jadeja made Sanath Sangwan the first victim against Delhi. After this, he also took the wicket of Yash Dhull who was at the crease after scoring 44 runs. After this, Jadeja also made Delhi captain Ayush Badhoni his victim. This player also managed to take the wickets of Harsh Tyagi and Navdeep Saini and thus he achieved the feat of taking five wickets in an innings for the 35th time in first class cricket. Jadeja has taken 547 wickets in first class cricket and he is now just three wickets away from the figure of 550 wickets.
Ravindra Jadeja last opened the Ranji Trophy match in 2023 against Tamil Nadu and there too he wreaked havoc with the ball. Ravindra Jadeja took 7 wickets for 53 runs against Tamil Nadu.
