The sixth round of Ranji Trophy has started. From today i.e. Thursday, January 23, matches between many teams are being played at different venues, in which many star players of Team India are taking part. One name in this is that of Indian team captain Rohit Sharma. He is playing Ranji Trophy match after 3365 days. His name is included in the playing eleven of Mumbai captained by Ajinkya Rahane. Rohit last participated in this tournament about 10 years ago on 7 November 2015 against UP. This time he is playing against Jammu and Kashmir.

Rohit will get this much money every day

In Ranji Trophy, BCCI gives money to the players on daily basis. According to the rules of the board, players who play more than 40 Ranji matches earn Rs 60 thousand per day and up to Rs 3 lakh from the entire match. Whereas players with experience between 21 to 40 matches get Rs 50 thousand per day and Rs 2.50 lakh for the entire match. Whereas players playing 0-20 matches get Rs 40 thousand per day and Rs 1.60 lakh for the entire match.

Reserve players of these categories get 30 thousand, 25 thousand and 20 thousand per day. Let us tell you that Indian captain Rohit Sharma played a total of 128 first class matches, which includes 67 international matches. That means he has played 61 domestic first class matches, of which more than 40 are Ranji matches. And matches of Irani Trophy and Duleep Trophy are also included. This means that at Rs 60,000 per day, he can earn up to Rs 3 lakh in the entire match.

Rohit Sharma played his last match in Ranji Trophy against Uttar Pradesh. He scored a century in this match played in 2015. Rohit had played an innings of 113 runs in 140 balls. Apart from him, Shreyas Iyer had scored 137 runs off 110 balls. On the basis of this important innings of both, Mumbai team had scored a huge score of 610 runs in the first innings. In response, the UP team scored 440 runs in the first innings and 140 runs in the second innings at the loss of 1 wicket and drew the match.
