What did BCCI say on the issue of Rohit going to Pakistan?

BCCI did not say anything clearly on the issue of Rohit going to Pakistan for a photoshoot for the Champions Trophy. BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said on this matter, 'It is still not decided whether Rohit Sharma will go to Pakistan for ICC media programs or not'.

When will the opening ceremony of the Champions Trophy take place?

A total of eight teams are participating in this tournament including India and Pakistan. ICC Champions Trophy will start from 19th February. There are reports that just before this, on 16 or 17 February, Pakistan will organize the opening ceremony. Apart from this, there will also be a press conference and photoshoot of the captains of all the teams. Captains of all the seven teams are sure to participate in it but the picture regarding Rohit Sharma is not clear yet.

All matches of Team India will be held in Dubai

After refusing to go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, Team India will now play all its matches in Dubai. Team India will start its campaign in the Champions Trophy with a match against Bangladesh (20 February). After this, India will face its arch rival Pakistan on 23 February. Whereas India's third and last league match will be against New Zealand on March 2. If the Indian team reaches the semi-finals and finals, then these important matches will also be held in Dubai. Otherwise the final and semi-final matches will be held in Pakistan.
