The ICC Men's Test Rankings have witnessed some significant changes following Pakistan's commanding 127-run victory over the West Indies in the first Test of their two-match series in Multan.

Pakistan's two standout performers in the opening game, Saud Shakeel and Noman Ali, have made significant strides in the updated rankings, breaking into the top 10 in their respective disciplines. Pakistan won that game by 127 runs, winding up the match inside three overs.

Saud Shakeel Breaks Into Top 10 Batters

Saud Shakeel's sublime knock of 84 runs in the first innings has propelled him three spots to 8th place on the batting rankings, securing a career-best 753 rating points. Shakeel now sits above notable names like Australia's Steve Smith (746) and India's Rishabh Pant (739), highlighting his growing stature in Test cricket.

The top two positions in the batting rankings remain unchanged, with England's Joe Root (895) and Harry Brook (876) maintaining their dominance. New Zealand's Kane Williamson (867) rounds out the top three.

Jasprit Bumrah: Indian Phenomena Unstoppable at the Top

India's pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah continues to reign supreme as the world's No. 1 Test bowler. With a career-high 908 rating points, Bumrah is well ahead of Australia's Pat Cummins (841) and South Africa's Kagiso Rabada (837). Bumrah's consistent performances have cemented his place as one of the most lethal bowlers in world cricket.

Noman Ali Shines Amongst Bowlers

Pakistan's left-arm spinner Noman Ali has been another big mover in the latest rankings. His match-winning six-wicket haul in the first Test has earned him a spot in the top 10 bowlers for the first time, with 761 rating points.

Pakistan's Sajid Khan (621) also saw a remarkable rise, climbing 18 places to claim the 23rd spot after his impactful display in the same match. On the other hand, West Indies' Jomel Warrican (521) surged 12 spots to No. 41 following a ten-wicket match haul in Multan.

Ravindra Jadeja Still the King Amongst All-Rounders

India's Ravindra Jadeja remains the top-ranked all-rounder in Test cricket, holding steady with 400 rating points. South Africa's Marco Jansen (294) and Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan (263) continue to trail Jadeja in the rankings.
