Delhi: Although no one knows when any new record will be made during the series of 5 T20 International matches between India and England, there are some records on which everyone will keep an eye. Let's take a look at 5 such special records made in the series:

200 T20 International matches of England team: The England team will make this record in the first match of the series itself. Till this time, i.e. from 2005 to 2024, 199 matches have been played out of which 104 matches were won and 85 matches were lost. They will become the seventh team to play 200 such matches. Other teams that are in this club: Pakistan 253, India 242, New Zealand 225, West Indies 216, Australia and Sri Lanka 203 matches.

Jos Buttler's 3500 runs: Till now no batsman from England has scored runs counting 3500 and Butler can become the first batsman to make such a record. In his T20 International career from 2011 to 2024, before the start of the series, Butler had scored 3389 runs in 118 innings of 129 matches, in which 101* is his top score. One special thing is that the batsman who has scored the most runs in T20 International cricket, India's number 3 and England's number 1 are playing in this series.

Record of highest 100 from India: Currently, Rohit Sharma has 5 such scores in 159 T20 Internationals and he is at the top. During this series, Surya Kumar Yadav can not only equal this record but can also break it. Surya has so far scored 4 scores of 100 in 78 matches.

Record of 100 wickets: Till now no Indian bowler has taken 100 wickets in T20 International. Yuzvendra Chahal is on top with 96 wickets in 80 matches but the first record of 100 wickets is probably to come in the name of Arshdeep Singh. Chahal is not in the team while Arshdeep is playing and he needs only 5 wickets. Arshdeep has taken 95 wickets in 60 matches in his T20 International career from 2022 to 2024 at an average of 18.10 and 8.32 economy. If Arshdeep makes this record in the first 2 matches, then he will be at number 3 in the list of 100 wickets in the fewest matches.

Records that Sanju Samson would not like to make: At present, for India, the record of being out on 0 for the most number of times in T20 International is in the name of Rohit Sharma and he has been out on 0 12 times in 159 matches. Virat Kohli is at second place with 7 times and if Sanju Samson is out even once at 0, then he will equal Virat's record and become joint number 2. Sanju has the record of being out on 0 6 times in just 37 matches in his T20 International career from 2015 to 2024.
