Lucknow: Former Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has created history in T-20 cricket and has become the first Indian batsman to do so. Let us tell you that the 29th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 was played between MI and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Wankhede Stadium. During this match, Rohit has achieved a feat which even veteran players like MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have not been able to do till now.

Actually, Rohit has completed his 500 runs in T-20 cricket and has become the first Indian batsman to do so in this format. No Indian player before him has been able to accomplish this feat. Talking about hitting the most number of sixes in T-20 cricket, Virat Kohli is at second place in this list, who has hit 383 sixes so far. So Dhoni is at third place in this list, who has hit 331 sixes from his bat.

If we talk about hitting 500 sixes in T-20 format, then Rohit is the 5th player in the world to do so. At the top of this list is former West Indies opener Chris Gayle, who has hit 1056 sixes and till now no batsman has been able to reach this figure. Gayle's compatriot Kieron Pollard is at second place in this list, who has hit 860 sixes. Caribbean player Andre Russell is also at third place in this list, who has hit 678 sixes so far.
