PCB has spent 12 billion Pakistani rupees, which is 3.72 billion rupees in Indian rupees, on the renovation of these two stadiums and Rawalpindi Stadium. This building will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It houses the ICC anti-corruption and anti-doping units, physiotherapy rooms and match officials' rooms on the ground floor, while two dressing rooms with state-of-the-art facilities are on the second floor.

Arshad said that the number of corporate boxes has also been increased and now about 1000 people can sit in them. New chairs have also been installed in the stadium for the fans. The number of seats has also been increased and some new toilets have also been prepared. Arrangements for floodlights have also been made on the outer net for practice. Similar facilities have also been added to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
