Even though Team India has lost in the last two Test series, now in the changed format the Indian team is going to enter with new enthusiasm. Team India has to play a five-match T20 series against England. Amazing batting is going to be seen in this series because both the teams have more than one batsman. Both the teams are experts in playing outspoken and fearless cricket. However, before this series, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav has made a big claim. He said that Team India can score 300 runs in T20. Suryakumar Yadav made this big claim while talking to Star Sports.
Suryakumar Yadav was asked in Star Sports program whether 300 runs can be scored in T20, on this Surya said that his team has already reached 297 runs, so 300 runs are not far. Surya was further asked which team can touch this figure first, to which he said that only India will touch it first. Suryakumar Yadav's words seem to be true to some extent because Team India has done such wonders in the last T20 series that it was difficult to believe.
Team India had scored 297 runs in the third T20 match against Bangladesh in October last year. This match took place in Hyderabad where Sanju Samson scored 111 runs in 47 balls. Suryakumar Yadav also played an inning of 75 runs in 35 balls. Team India had hit a total of 22 sixes in this match.
After Bangladesh, Team India also did wonders in the T20 series against South Africa. This time in Johannesburg T20, Team India had scored 283 runs in 20 overs. Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma had scored brilliant centuries. In that match, Tilak Verma had scored unbeaten 120 runs in 47 balls. Sanju Samson played an unbeaten inning of 109 runs. In this match, Team India's batsmen hit 23 sixes. It is clear that Team India has reached close to 300 twice and if it touches the figure of 300 against England then no one should be surprised. By the way, Team India's best T20 score against England is 224 runs.
