After Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reportedly informed about Rohit Sharma's refusal to travel to Pakistan for the opening ceremony of ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025, the marquee event has now been marred with a fresh controversy.
According to the latest development, India has reportedly objected to print the host country's name - Pakistan on their jersey.
This comes after the BCCI had earlier declined Team India's travel to Pakistan, owing to security concerns. However, the decision forced PCB to move the tournament in a hybrid model with India playing all its matches in Dubai.
