First Team India refused to go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy. After this, Rohit Sharma also did not attend the inaugural ceremony of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as captain. Pakistan is hosting this ICC tournament. But India's matches will be held in Dubai. Now there are reports that India has once again given a strong defeat to Pakistan. Generally, the name of the country that hosts the tournament is on the jerseys of all the teams, but Pakistan's name will not be on India's jersey and now there is an uproar regarding this.
PCB has accused India and BCCI regarding this matter. An official of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said, 'BCCI is bringing politics into cricket which is not good for the game. BCCI refused to send its team to Pakistan. They also do not want to send their captain (Rohit Sharma) to Pakistan for the opening ceremony and now there are reports that Pakistan's name will not be printed on the jersey (Indian cricket team). We hope from ICC that they will not allow this to happen and will support Pakistan.

India had hosted the ODI World Cup in the year 2023. Then the Pakistani team came to India and played all its matches here. India's name was on Pakistan's jersey. Even before this, when India hosted ICC events, India was written on Pakistan's jersey. But BCCI does not want the name of Pakistan on the jerseys of its players. Now Pakistan has taken refuge in ICC regarding this issue.
Champions Trophy 2025 will start from February 19 in Pakistan. India will play all its matches in Dubai. The great match between India and Pakistan in the tournament will also be played at the Dubai International Stadium. Both the teams will face each other on 23 February.
