If he hits five sixes in the first T20, he will surpass MS Dhoni and come fourth in the list of players who have hit the most sixes in this format for India. Dhoni has 338 sixes in his name in 342 innings of 391 matches. Rohit Sharma is at number one in this list, followed by Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav.

2. If Mohammed Shami takes 2 wickets, he will become the eighth player to take 450 or more wickets in international cricket. Shami has taken 448 wickets in 245 innings of 188 matches played including all three formats. Only Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Kapil Dev, Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath have reached this figure for India so far.

If he scores 60 runs in the first match, he will surpass Shikhar Dhawan and come fifth in the list of players who have scored the most T20 International runs for India. Former batsman Dhawan has 1759 runs in his name in 66 innings of 68 matches.

If he takes two wickets, he will surpass Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah and come third in the list of players taking the most wickets in this format for India. Bhuvneshwar has taken 90 wickets and Bumrah has taken 89 wickets in T-20 International.
