After playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Australian soil, the Indian team will now play a five-match T20 series and then a three-match ODI series at home against England. The T-20 series will start from January 22, in which the command of Team India will be in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav, while Akshar Patel has got the responsibility of vice-captaincy. Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya is also a part of the Indian squad. Hardik can achieve the feat of scoring a unique century in the series against England and he will be the first Indian all-rounder to do so. Let us know what big record Hardik can make against England.

Pandya is close to hitting 100 T20I sixes

Hardik Pandya is known for his explosive batting in T-20 cricket. He has more than 100 sixes in his name in IPL. Hardik is close to 100 sixes in International T-20. So far, in 109 T-20 matches, this Indian all-rounder has scored 1700 runs in 85 innings. His highest score is 71 runs. He has 129 fours and 88 sixes in his name in this format. He is just 12 sixes away from 100 T20I sixes. There is full hope that Pandya will reach this milestone in the five-match T20 series against England. If Hardik is successful in this, he will prove to be the first Indian all-rounder to hit 100 T20I sixes.

Rohit-Virat-Surya have more than 100 T20I sixes in their names.

The record of hitting 100 or more than 100 sixes in T-20 International for India has been made by legends like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar. But keep in mind that all three of them are great batsmen, while Hardik plays the role of all-rounder. Suryakumar has hit 145 sixes in 78 T20 matches, Virat has hit 124 sixes in 125 matches and Rohit has hit 205 sixes in 159 matches. Rohit and Virat had retired from T20 International after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. Suryakumar has a golden opportunity to break Rohit's record of 205 T20I sixes. But it is too early to say anything on this. Surya needs 61 sixes for this.
