After the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to impose strict guidelines, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has now also placed restrictions in players' personal travel before their inaugural T20I match against England.

After the recent series loss to Australia, the BCCI posed strict guidelines for players; as they limited personal photo shoots during series, limited family stays on international tours, and some other directives.

According to PTI, the State Associations that will host the next white-ball series against England have received the 10-point directive from BCCI. According to the current BCCI policy, CAB President Snehashish Ganguly has stated that there have not been any special arrangements for any players ahead of the first T20I match against England in Kolkata.

'In keeping with the BCCI's 10-point guidelines for players, the Cricket Association of Bengal has not arranged any separate means of conveyance [for individual players]. Only a team bus has been arranged for the Indian team. There won't be any personal vehicles for the cricketers. We have to follow the guidelines, which clearly state that all players are expected to travel with the team to and from matches and practice sessions,' Ganguly was quoted as saying by PTI.

In the new guidelines, the Indian Cricket Board mandated that the players will have to travel with the team for practice for every game in order to maintain team unity and discipline. The motive of the change is to improve the development of cricket at all levels while promoting a professional team culture.
