He has scored around 300 runs, out of which he scored more than 150 runs with sixes. On Sunday, January 19, Maxwell played another brilliant innings and led his team to a spectacular victory.

Scored 76 runs in 32 balls, third consecutive half-century

Glenn Maxwell's bat is on fire in the Big Bash League. Maxwell is playing for Melbourne Stars team. He scored a brilliant fifty against Hobart Hurricanes on Sunday. In the match between Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars, the Stars batted first and scored a big score of 219 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Beau Webster scored 51 runs in 31 balls. Whereas Maxwell batted at a strike rate of more than 200. He scored 76 runs in 32 balls in a stormy manner. 6 sixes and 5 fours came from his bat. This is Maxwell's third consecutive half-century this season. Earlier he had played innings of 90 and 58 not out. In response to Stars' target of 220 runs, Hurricanes were all out for 179 runs and lost the match by 40 runs.

Maxwell has hit 26 sixes so far, strike rate is 194

Maxwell has batted in eight matches so far in this season of the Big Bash League. He was not very effective in the initial matches but after this Maxwell was seen in his old colours. In the current season, this Kangaroo player is taking notice of the opposition bowlers with a strike rate of 194. So far, he has scored 297 runs in eight matches with three half-centuries. Maxwell hit 17 fours. Whereas 27 sixes came off his bat. Before the Champions Trophy, Maxwell has made his intentions clear. If Maxwell's form continues in the Champions Trophy, he can prove to be the X factor for Australia.
