PAK vs WI: Pakistani spinners again wreaked havoc, defeated West Indies badly in Multan Test

The winning streak which Pakistan had started in the home Test against England, has been maintained against the West Indies as well. They won the Multan test by 127 runs. In this match, like in the England series, the power of Pakistani spinners was again seen. Only 20 spinners took all the wickets of West Indies. Whereas Pakistani spin pair Sajid Khan and Noman Ali once again wreaked havoc. Both of them together took a total of 15 wickets in this match. Let us tell you that in the second innings, Pakistan team set a target of 251 runs, in response to which the entire West Indies team collapsed for 123 runs.

Pakistan won in low scoring match

West Indies team is on Pakistan tour for two test match series. Its first match was played in Multan, which was low scoring. Both the teams failed to score big. The dominance of the spinners was seen throughout the match. In this match which started from January 17, Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan team somehow managed to score 230 runs on the basis of Saud Sakil's 84 runs and Mohammad Rizwan's 71 runs.

In response, West Indies team got bundled out for just 137 runs and Pakistan got a lead of 93 runs. In the second innings, Pakistan scored 157 runs and set a total target of 251 runs. During this, captain Shan Masood played a brilliant inning of 52 runs in 70 balls. While chasing it, the Caribbean team was all out for 137 and Pakistan won the match by 127 runs.

The dominance of the spinners was seen in the entire match. West Indies spinners took 14 out of 20 wickets, while their fast bowlers could take only 3 wickets. On the other hand, all 20 wickets from Pakistan were in the name of its spinners. England series hero Sajid Khan took 4 wickets in the first innings of the match and 5 wickets in the second and took a total of 9 wickets in his name. His fellow spinner Noman Ali took 5 wickets in the first innings and 1 wicket in the second. The remaining 5 wickets were in the name of Abrar Ahmed. Not only this, the Pakistani team bowled about 58 overs but only 1 over was bowled by the fast bowler. Sajid Khan was chosen player of the match for his excellent performance.
