To test Bumrah's fitness, he will also be included in the 3-match ODI series against England. This series will start from 6th February. It is being claimed that if Bumrah is fit then he can be fielded in a match of this series before the Champions Trophy, so that his match fitness can be completely known and he and the team can somehow help him in the Champions Trophy. The star fast bowler started having back problems in the last test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on the Australia tour. After bowling in the first innings of this Test played in Sydney, Bumrah started having back cramps, due to which he could not bowl again in the match. Recently a report claimed that Bumrah has been advised bed-rest for a few days, after which he will be under the observation of the medical team at the BCCI Center of Excellence. However, Bumrah himself came forward and refuted this claim on social media.
