Recent days have not been good at all for Team India. Not only has the team suffered defeat on the field, but outside the field also the news of dispute between the players and the team management has attracted all the attention. If this is not less then Team India is also struggling with the fitness of some of its players, the biggest name of which is star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah's back pain has created trouble for Team India just before the Champions Trophy, but just a day before the team selection, there is news of some relief. It is believed that Bumrah will get a place in the Champions Trophy squad.

Team India for the Champions Trophy will be announced on Saturday, January 18 in Mumbai. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma will reveal the names of the players selected in the Indian squad in the press conference. According to the rules, only 15 players can be selected for the tournament, while some players can be included as reserves. Not only the Champions Trophy, but the squad for the ODI series against England will also be announced during this period.

Just a day before the announcement of the team, on Friday, January 17, a media report claimed that Bumrah would be included in both the squads. This report has come at a time when worrying claims have been made about Bumrah's fitness. Just a few days ago, a report said that it is difficult for Bumrah to play in the initial matches of the Champions Trophy. But the latest report has definitely given some relief to the fans. However, it has also been made clear that his playing or not will depend on his fitness.

To test Bumrah's fitness, he will also be included in the 3-match ODI series against England. This series will start from 6th February. It is being claimed that if Bumrah is fit then he can be fielded in a match of this series before the Champions Trophy, so that his match fitness can be completely known and he and the team can somehow help him in the Champions Trophy. So that there is no problem.

The star fast bowler started having back problems in the last test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on the Australia tour. After bowling in the first innings of this Test played in Sydney, Bumrah started having back cramps, due to which he could not bowl again in the match. Recently a report claimed that Bumrah has been advised bed-rest for a few days, after which he will be under the observation of the medical team at the BCCI Center of Excellence. However, Bumrah himself came forward and refuted this claim on social media.
