The third edition of the (WPL) is scheduled to kickstart on February 14, 2025. In the opening match of the season, Gujarat Giants (GG) will lock horns with the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Vadodara International Cricket Stadium.

Total 22 matches will be played in the tournament across four cities including the likes of Vadodara, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Lucknow. The final is scheduled to be played at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on March 15.

The first six matches of WPL 2025 will played in Vadodara, before the tournament shifts to Bengaluru where eight matches are scheduled. After that, Ekana Stadium in Lucknow is also set to host WPL matches for the first time and will host four games. The last four matches of the season, including the eliminator and the final will be played in Mumbai. The inaugural season of the WPL was won by Mumbai Indians in 2023, while Royals Challengers Bengaluru were crowned as champions in 2024.
