After 17 years, Malaysia is going to host a global tournament. Last time Malaysia hosted the Men's Under-19 World Cup, now the Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup is starting in Malaysia from January 18. This is the second Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup. The first Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup was won by India in the year 2023 by defeating England in South Africa. 16 teams are participating in this tournament including India. The tournament will be played between 16 teams for 16 days. There will be a total of 41 matches in this. So let us tell you everything in detail about the Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup.

Start from 18th January, final on 2nd February

Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup is starting from January 18 in Malaysia. The tournament will be played between 16 teams for 16 days. Its semi-final match will be held in January. The title clash will take place on February 2. These matches will be played at Beaumas Oval in Selangor, UKM YSD Oval, JCA Oval in Johor and Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak.

These 16 teams will compete for the title, divided into four groups

16 teams are participating in this tournament. Four groups of four teams each have been formed. Group A consists of India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and West Indies. Group B consists of England, Pakistan, Ireland and USA. Group C consists of Nigeria, South Africa, Samoa and New Zealand. Whereas in Group D there are Australia, Scotland, Bangladesh and Nepal. Let us tell you that Nigeria and Samoa will play Women's Under-19 World Cup for the first time. All the teams will play one match each against the three teams of their group. Top 3 teams from each group (total 12 teams) will go to Super Six. Teams of Group B and Group C will be placed in one group and teams of Group A and Group D will be placed in one group. Then the top two teams of both the groups will face each other in the semi-finals.

Six matches will be played on January 18, the first day of the Women's Under-19 T-20 World Cup. There will be three matches from 8 am Indian time. Australia vs Scotland, these three matches will be played at Beaumas Oval in Selangor, England vs Ireland at JCA Oval in Johor, Samoa vs Nigeria at Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak. At 12 noon, Bangladesh vs Nepal will be played at Beaumas Oval in Selangor, Pakistan vs America at JCA Oval in Johor and South Africa vs New Zealand at Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak.
