According to a report in Daily Mail, Saqib was informed on Thursday morning that his visa has been approved. The England team can reach India on Friday to play eight consecutive matches against India. 27 year old Saqib Mahmood will also be with the team. Earlier twice his visa to visit India was not approved by the Government of India.

Saqib did not get visa in 2019 and 2024

Saqib was born in United Kingdom. But he is of Pakistani origin. His parents belong to Pakistan. Shakib was part of England Lions in 2019 when he was to come for India tour but his visa was not approved. After this, in the year 2024 also he had to face the same problem.
