Virat Kohli is the top run-scorer of IPL 2024 with 319 runs from six games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru so far, including the first hundred of the season. Riyan Parag of Rajasthan Royals is in second place with 284 runs. His captain at Royals, Sanju Samson, is in third, with 264. Shubman Gill, Samson's Gujarat Titans counterpart, is in fourth on 255, and Gill's team-mate Sai Sudharsan is at No. 5 with 226. Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant is at No. 6 with 194. Among the top ten run-makers, SRH's Abhishek Sharma has the best strike rate, 208, followed by his team-mate Heinrich Klaasen, who has struck at 194= so far. Jos Buttler of Royals is the only batter other than Kohli to have scored a hundred this season. Parag and Samson have three fifties each. Kohli, Klaasen, Gill, Tristan Stubbs, Rishabh Pant and Quinton de Kock have all scored two half-centuries each. Pant got close to making a third in the Friday game against Lucknow. Three other quick bowlers, Yash Thakur (Lucknow Super Giants), Harshal Patel (PBKS), and Umesh Yadav (Titans) have seven each. Chahal is the only spinner among the top ten most successful bowlers in the 2024 IPL. Apart from Bumrah, Thakur of LSG is the only other bowler to have taken a five-for so far this season. Three bowlers, Mustafizur, Arshdeep and Coetzee, have taken four in an innings.
