The countdown for the new season of the Women's Premier League has started and the fans' wait is about to end in a few days. The third season of WPL is going to start from 14th February and once again there will be intense action in this league of 5 teams. There are still a few weeks left for the tournament to start but an announcement has been made before that. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule of WPL 2025 on Thursday 16 January. The tournament starting from 14th February will continue till the title match to be held on 15th March. That means now is the time for fans to mark the match dates of their favorite team on the calendar.

This time the Board of Control for Cricket in India has taken a big decision to expand the scope of WPL. While the first season of the league was played only in two different grounds in Mumbai, the last season was played in Bengaluru and Delhi. Now for the first time, BCCI has decided to expand the league and organize it in 4 venues instead of 2. This time the league will be organized in Lucknow, Mumbai, Vadodara and Bengaluru, where 22 matches will be played in 32 days.
