Before this tremendous catch, Jitesh had also done wonders with his bat. This right-handed batsman scored 51 runs in just 33 balls, in which he also hit 3 fours and 3 sixes. Despite this, this innings of Jitesh was not discussed much, because the three batsmen who came before him made a lot of noise. Both Vidarbha's openers Dhruv Shorey and Yash Rathore scored excellent centuries. Karun Nair, the captain of the team and proved to be the most powerful batsman this season, scored unbeaten 88 runs in just 44 balls.
