What happened after Team India's defeat in Australia? BCCI's attitude changed. Recently there were reports that BCCI has reduced the time limit for players to visit with their families on long foreign tours. Apart from this, the manager of head coach Gautam Gambhir has also been banned from being in Team India's dressing room and team bus. But now BCCI has taken another big step. If reports are to be believed, BCCI has also banned the personal staff of the players.
According to the report of news agency ANI, now Team India players will not be able to travel on foreign tours with their personal staff i.e. cook, hair dresser, stylist, personal security guard. Many players of Team India take their personal cooks. Hardik Pandya is a big name among them.
Team India now has to play T20 series against England. A total of five matches will be played in the T20 series. All the players have been called to Kolkata to prepare for this series. Everyone has been ordered to report at Eden Gardens on January 18. Team India players will practice in Kolkata for three days and the series against England will start from January 22.
Before the T20 series against England, BCCI has taken another big decision. Actually, BCCI has added the sixth member in the coaching staff of Team India. Sitanshu Kotak has been made the batting coach of Team India. Surprisingly, after Gambhir became the head coach, there was no batting coach in the team. Abhishek Nair and Tan Descathe are on assistant coach positions in the team, what is their role is not yet understood. Apart from this, Morne Morkel is the bowling coach and the fielding coach is T Dilip.
